I am proud to be a member of the Haddon Heights School District, as a Child Study Team School Psychologist. I have experience as both a special education teacher and a school psychologist and am very fortunate to be doing something that I love; working as a team member with dedicated and skilled students, staff, parents and community members, for the benefit of our students.

Cory Mueller - School Psychologist - Ext. 2003 [email protected]

It continues to be a privilege to be a School Psychologist in my hometown community of Haddon Heights. I have been a part of the Haddon Heights family since 2010 and I serve as a preschool and elementary case manager and provide psychological services district-wide.  It is a rewarding experience to work with our students, staff and parents to achieve the best educational outcomes for our children.  Our team continually strives to improve our services, programs, and capabilities in order to provide our Borough with the best service models in the county. I also enjoy the opportunity to serve as a resource for the community in the areas of child development, special education and mental health.

Dawn M. Reilly - School Psychologist - Ext. 5536 [email protected]

Joining the Haddon Heights CST as School Psychologist presents a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a community so near and dear to my heart. With enthusiasm, I look forward to being a flexible team member who will work hard to be proactive and positively impact all aspects of our students’ educational experience. I am excited to continue my growth as a professional and develop strong and productive relationships with the families, students, and staff of our district.

Kristina Sacco - School Social Worker - Ext. 2007 [email protected]

I am proud to be a member of the Haddon Heights Child Study Team and to have the opportunity to work with the great staff, students, and families in this community. As a social worker, my goal is to help children and their families get the educational resources they need to be successful. I am looking forward to working as a team member to support the importance of learning in our Haddon Heights schools.

Brooke Artz- Learning Disability Teacher Consultant - Ext. 2002 [email protected]

Mrs. Artz is anticipated to start November 14th!
I am thrilled to be a member of the Haddon Heights Child Study Team. As the district Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, I will do my due diligence to assist our students, staff, families, and community to cultivate success, creating lifelong learners.  My career in education started as a special education teacher, which then expanded into my current role, where I have worked with preschool to high school age students. Along with education, I have always been an advocate for the performing arts. We are all on the same team. Let’s work together to achieve success!

Team Member Roles

Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultants (LDT-C)

Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultants (LDT-C) are trained to assess the learning styles of students and determine specific achievement levels in a variety of content areas. An LDT-C has the background of being a certified teacher and utilizes this experience to recommend and model specific methods and strategies that may benefit a student. An LDT-C works collaboratively with the student’s educational team to develop individualized programs and academic interventions for students with disabilities. Additionally, these professionals consult with general education intervention teams and case manage the individual education plans of special education students.

School Psychologists

School Psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students’ abilities to learn and teachers’ abilities to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, cognitive development, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School Psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community. Aspects of a School Psychologist's responsibilities include but are not limited to psychological evaluations, school counseling, individual education plan case management, behavioral assessment and intervention planning.

Social Workers

Social Workers provide services to students and their families to help students attain maximum benefits from their educational programs. The School Social Workers’ knowledge of social, emotional, cultural, and economic differences in families enables School Social Workers to be the link between home, school, and the community. School Social Workers work on the Child Study Team to ensure delivery of Special Education and Related Services to eligible children and encourage families to be involved in the IEP Team decisions. School Social Workers also provide interventions to children by providing counseling services and support to school staff directly in the school setting.
