About the Curriculum Director

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ronald Corn and I am the Curriculum Director at Haddon Heights. I have been an educator for 25 years, 15 of which I spent as a teacher. I started as a (K-12) Health and Physical Education teacher before transitioning to a (7-12) Social Studies teacher. In that time, I have taught AP World History, Honors World History, World History and Cultures, Honors United States History, United States History, Modern America, and Sociology. After those 15 years in the classroom, I moved into educational administration. I first served the Haddon Heights School District as a vice-principal for 5 years before assuming the principal position of the Haddon Heights Junior-Senior High School for the next 6 years. As a principal there are a multitude of responsibilities, but the one I enjoyed most was providing training and professional development for teachers. Some of these topics have been in the areas of classroom management and differentiated instruction and assessment. I am very honored and excited to be the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Haddon Heights School District.
